About

Hi, I'm Conner. I build websites for people who want a real one.

Most small business owners don't want to fight with Squarespace or pay agency rates for a website that takes three months and still feels generic. They want a site that loads fast, looks like them, and works when they're not thinking about it.

That's what I build. Each site is custom, written from scratch on a modern stack, and tuned to be fast by default. You own the code. You own the domain. You own the hosting account. If we stop working together tomorrow, your site keeps running — and you can take it anywhere.

I work solo, which means you talk to the person doing the work. No account managers, no handoffs, no "let me check with the team." Just direct, clear, and finished on time.

What you get

The things most freelancers won't promise.

Anyone can build you a website. These are the parts that decide whether it's a good experience or a frustrating one.

01

You own everything.

Code, domain, hosting account. All in your name from day one. If we stop working together, your site keeps running.

02

Fast by default.

Built on Astro and deployed to Cloudflare. Sub-second loads, top Lighthouse scores, no plugin bloat. Speed is the baseline, not an upgrade.

03

Flat project pricing.

You see the full price before we start. No hourly meters, no scope surprises, no invoice anxiety at the end of the month.

04

Direct communication.

You talk to me, not an account manager. I reply within one business day, always. If something is off, you hear it from me first.

05

Real custom design.

No templates, no Squarespace look-alike. Every site is designed and built around your business, your voice, your audience.

06

Post-launch support included.

Every package includes a window of free tweaks after launch. Find a typo at midnight? Send it over. No invoice for small fixes.

Process

Four steps. No mystery.

You'll know exactly where we are, what's next, and what's expected of you — every step of the way.

  1. 01

    Discovery

    Day 1–2

We talk through what you need — your business, your audience, the goals for the site. I send a short intake form, you reply, and I write up a clear scope and timeline. Nothing starts until we both agree on it.

  2. 02

    Design + Build

    The bulk of the project

I design and build in parallel — no separate "design phase" that drags on for weeks. You see real progress on a live preview URL within the first few days. You review, send notes, I iterate.

  3. 03

    Review

    Final week

We do a structured review pass. You catch typos, request small adjustments, test the contact form. I fix everything in 24–48 hours. No surprises, no scope creep — just polish.

  4. 04

    Launch

    Launch day

I connect your domain, push to your Cloudflare account, and verify everything is live and fast. You get full ownership of the code, the repo, and the hosting account. Your post-launch support window starts here.

Questions

Things worth asking up front.

If you have a question that isn't here, send it through the form below.

Do I really own the site after we're done?

Yes — completely. The code lives in your GitHub repo, the domain is registered in your name, and the hosting is on your own Cloudflare account. If you wanted to fire me tomorrow and take everything to another developer, you could. Nothing is locked behind my accounts or my licenses.

What happens if I need changes after launch?

Every package includes a post-launch tweak window (14–60 days depending on tier). Small fixes during that window are free — typos, copy edits, image swaps, minor adjustments. After that, you can either learn to make changes yourself (the stack is documented and approachable) or pick up a maintenance retainer at $80/month for ongoing help.

Do you write the copy for me?

I'll help, but I don't write from scratch. You know your business better than I ever will. What I do is take the rough version you give me and shape it — tightening sentences, fixing tone, suggesting where to cut or expand. Most clients send me a working draft and we go from there.

Why not Squarespace, Wix, or WordPress?

Those platforms are fine for some businesses, but they trade speed for convenience. Your site loads slower, your monthly fees stack up, and you're locked into their ecosystem. The sites I build load in under a second, cost roughly $25/year to host, and you own the code outright. You'll never get a surprise bill, an upsell, or a forced migration.

How soon can you start?

Usually within 1–2 weeks of a signed agreement. I keep my client load deliberately small so each project gets real attention. If I'm fully booked when you reach out, I'll tell you upfront and give you a realistic start date — I won't string you along.

What if I don't like the design?

We catch that early. I share a live preview within the first few days, not at the end. If something is off, you tell me and I adjust before we're deep in. The revision rounds in each package exist for exactly this — and in practice, real disagreement is rare because we align on the direction during the discovery call.
